About

vănThanh is a missionary priest of the Society of the Divine Word and has served on the CTU faculty since 2005. He is the Rector (or Superior) of Divine Word Theologate located in Hyde Park, Chicago.

 

He serves on the Board of Directors and the Board Trustees of Divine Word College (2011-present) and the Board of Directors of the American Society of Missiology (2017-present). He is a co-convener and coordinator of Biblical Studies and Mission (BISAM) in the International Association for Mission Studies (IASM; 2012-present). He is an associate editor of the Journal of the International Association for Mission Studies (MS; 2013-present), and the managing editor of the Journal of Association of Asian/North American Theological Educators (JAANATE; 2013-present).
